Kanya Kumari referred to as Cape Comorin. Located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula, it is the geographical end of the Indian mainland. Kanyakumari takes its name from the Kumari Amman or Kanyakumari Temple, situated in the town, on the sea-shore, the very confluence of the three water-bodies - the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean. This shot was taken from a ferry going to the temple. Later on edited in Photoshop CS2.
Maiden Reflection
This shot shows a water reflection of "Mönch" , "Jungfrau" and "Eiger" . The three mountains of the ridge are commonly referred to as the Virgin (German: Jungfrau, lit. "Young Woman" - translates to "Virgin" or "Maiden"), the Monk (Mönch) and the Ogre (Eiger).
"Jungfraujoch" is a saddle between the Mönch and the Jungfrau in the Bernese Alps on the boundary between the cantons of Bern and Valais. The shot was taken from Interlaken.
